Ah, Christmas time in Texas

(Get ready for lots of family photos)

We spent the week leading up to Christmas in Southlake and then spent December 26th to January 2nd in Friendswood with my family. It was the first time me and my two siblings and their families were all together in two years and it will probably be at least that long again before we can be sure we’ll be all together again for another couple of years. So, of course, we took a big family picture.

On Tuesday, we went to the Houston Zoo which is always more fun in winter and with little kids. We didn’t get to see the birds, though, since they’re not the most exciting for the kiddos.

Ella and Mom. I love this picture because it implies motion and they both look so happy 🙂

And lastly, all of us (who could fit into the picture) ready to ride the train around Hermann Park.

On the Train

  1. What a great family!! It was risky going to the zoo though. They didn’t notice there were wild ones on the wrong side of the fence!

  2. Remember that time we went to the zoo with your mom and the 3 Kane kids…..we each had a kid to watch and it was pretty stressful!
